Important! Site migration

in bed bugs, meta

The good news is that we will soon be shifting to a new host, giving us more possibilities here at Bedbugger.

The bad news is that for the next few days, things might be a big wiggy around here.

The most important thing to remember: currently we are at, but the domain (which will be the new address) also works.

For the next few days, you should probably just use the, even if you’ve been using the “new” address since last fall. As soon as the migration takes place, I’ll post a message redirecting you to the new address for good. I apologize for any inconvenience, but after a few hiccups, we should be smooth sailing from then on.

And on a lighter note, you should consider what you’d like added as features on Bedbugger. Already planned: a forum, where we can have threaded discussions on ongoing issues (this will be separate from the blog which will still have posts and comments on those posts), an improved FAQ (again in a separate area). I’d like even more interactive tools, such as maps where you can

Man, I’d love it if you featured an occasional gallery of the most fatuous writing on bedbugs out there.

I don’t know about you but playful-clever-but-really-asinine cultural commentary like this:

No, since we exiled bed bugs from our beds, everything has gone to hell.

…annoys me no end. I’d like to fusillade it to tiny bits.

Yeah, Thanks Will Self. There’s so much wrong with that…
