The Maya Rudolph story has now been picked up by USA Today; it appears to be the same AP news story the San Jose Mercury-News carried, and it’s good to see it in a national paper.

Still marginalized in the “People” section of the paper, though.

Listen, world of journalism, what is it gonna take for you to see this as news news, and not celebrity news?
