in bed bugs, bedbugs, news, tales of bed bug woe

Some news:

Dan Kramer’s wonderful piece on bed bugs aired on WNYC radio today. You can (and must!) listen to it here. It features several sufferers of this scourge, as well as the amazing Lou Sorkin, an entomologist from the American Museum of Natural History. Finally, a piece of bed bug press in which I can’t find any errors. Nice work, Dan!

Absolutely listen to this WNYC piece. Great job. The people interviewed were so well-spoken. It is terrifying. The media will often present bedbugs as something that happens only to the ignorant and the uninformed; something that happens to “other” people, not to “us.” These speakers are us! Thanks for the posting show and hosting the blog.

Welcome home. It wouldn’t be the foxhole without you!
